Getting Here

Finding Perpignan

The last major city in the Languedoc-Roussillon, only 26km (16 miles) from the Spanish border, Perpignan is truly the south of France. Vibrant Catalan, Romany and north African communities bring this palm-tree lined historical French city to life

Sandy Mediterranean beaches are less than half an hour away and skiing in the Pyrenees is just down the road.

Why not enjoy a lazy lunch on the Costa Brava with an oyster supper on the French Med.?

There are many ways of getting to Perpignan by land, sea or air: this page should give you a few ideas on how to get here from the UK and Ireland.

Trains are normally routed via Narbonne, taking 8-9 hours from the north coast of France.

From Spain there is a slow rail link from Girona (2 hours) - a high speed link to Barcelona is currently under construction.

Check out prices and availability at the SNCF website.
